About Us

Founded in December of 2014, after a few guys who frequently met at the Raleigh North Carolina flea market on the weekends to buy and sell watches shared over the years that it would be nice to have a watch group to meet and talk watches. One of the fellas, a late entry into the flea market gang, took the initiative and started the group.

He found a meeting spot, set a date and time and Watch Group-NC was launched. 

Our group have those who are collectors who don’t sell, we’ll call them “hoarders”. They will share some of their pieces at our gatherings, but won’t sell. That’s ok. Umm, clingy. We have those who buy, sell and trade, all the time. Not clingy.  We have a group of savvy watch guys who know watches, know what they’re worth and will buy them at the right price.

We have a warm, inviting, non-judgmental and friendly vibe to our group. We recognize that all collectors have watches that they enjoy. All have different tastes. Some like high end watches, some like mid-range, and some enjoy low end watches. A watch, whether it’s a wrist or pocket, means a lot to the owner.  Everyone is well received, respected and made to feel like you are at home.
